    OIST Science Challenge

    OIST Science Challenge is a unique opportunity for participants to extend their scientific education and experience research. We also offer valuable information to help them prepare for a doctoral program. Through various interactions with OIST faculty, postdocs, and PhD students, the participants will learn about research conducted at OIST, and skills needed to survive and enjoy a PhD life. At the end of the workshop, participants will be asked to present a submitted slide presentation on a theme in light of their experience throughout the week.

    Skill Pills+

    The Skill Pills+ provide a unique opportunity for students in Japan to learn about research being conducted in OIST directly from active researchers. 

    During a one-weekend workshop, participants will learn set of practical skills to enhance their scientific knowledge that can be applied directly in future research and studies.

    Eligibility: Undergraduate and master students in Japan

    OIST is coming to your town! OIST Café is a casual science talk session where you can meet with OIST students, researchers, and members of the Graduate School to learn about exciting research and PhD Program offered at OIST. The sessions are delivered in English, and often held in major cities in Japan.
