OIST Science Challenge is a unique opportunity for participants to extend their scientific education and experience research. We also offer valuable information to help them prepare for a doctoral program. Through various interactions with OIST faculty, postdocs, and PhD students, the participants will learn about research conducted at OIST, and skills needed to survive and enjoy a PhD life. At the end of the workshop, participants will be asked to present a submitted slide presentation on a theme in light of their experience throughout the week.
OIST Café is a casual science information session to introduce the OIST PhD program, Research Internship, and other workshops. What do cutting-edge research and education look like? What are the qualification and criteria to get into Graduate School? What are the career options after the graduation?
During the OIST NetCafé, admissions staff and current PhD students will meet you online to answer all your questions and share their stories about their studies at OIST.
